From LA to Canada

I know I promised to blog about TIFF on Friday, but clearly that didn't happen.  It just so happened that Friday afternoon I found out Cosmopolis was playing at a theater near me (aka 2 hours away), so I hoped in a car with a couple of friends and off we went.  Seriously, you cannot imagine my excitement when I walked up to the theater and saw this:

I was sincerely conviced that I was going to have to wait until it came out on DVD to see this.  So yeah, pretty damn excited.  Plus that theater sold beer so double the excitement.  Honestly, if you get a chance to go see this movie, DO IT.  It's not the kind of movie I would typically go see.  But Rob absolutely NAILS it.  It is one of those movies where you literally can't take your eyes off the screen...or him (does that surprise anyone?  No? Okay, moving on.)

This was basically my explanation on why I failed to post Friday.  So Thursday night was a double-wamey.  Rob was at the VMA's introducing the last BD part 2 trailer. *Pauses for sobs because in two months it will all be over.*  Intoxicated, giddy Rob was out in full force as he premiered the trailer.

hello there giddy man

He also surprised everyone the next day by showing up, unannounced, to a Stand Up to Cancer event.

obviously a cause very close to his heart.  you sir, are the epitome of what a man should be.
Meanwhile, Kristen was up in Canada promoting On the Road at the Toronto International Film Festival.  This was her first public appearance since the Teen Choice Awards back in July.  And man, was it good to see her pretty face again.  Kristen came out swinging when she showed up at TIFF...head held high.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Her dress was from the Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture collection

hi, I missed your smile

I'm not sure when we will see R/K next.  Balenciaga has their fashion show presentation towards the end of the month in Paris, so I will more than likely expect Kristen to be there.
Next time, we may talk a book recommendation or NYFW.  Decisions, decisions.....
If you missed the new Breaking Dawn trailer, here it is.
***that move E/B do at the end...OMG watched it on repeat like 50 times now

  1. Congrats on the new blog!!!! I love love love! Also why do none of our theatres serve beer here? *sigh*

Great post my dear - cannot wait for more! Especially book recommendations! You're like a full service blog. R/K and Book Recs! <3
